Dear Jim:

Please let me take this opportunity to give you my sincere thanks for the Arc Set tool. As I tell the consumers and occasional dealer that I recommend it to: "It's magic." The tool used in combination with the Canary is the fastest method I've seen to put a dish on the arc. I had the pleasure of doing my first service call with the two yesterday.

The customer's jack had slipped in the clamp and the dish was drooping to the west. I got the jack rougly aligned and had the dish moving again. I aligned the dish on Zenith and moved it to the west. When the mechanical alignment was as close as I could get it, I loosened the jack again and moved it until the dish was aligned for extreme. I then put the Canary in the coax and started rotating the mount.

At the very instant that the song changed, all three of the customer's children came boiling out of the home and off the back porch. They were all yelling variations of "You've got a perfect picture." When I tightened the clamp and programmed the IRD, the signal quality was uniformly high across the arc. The customer was delighted and I wound up with a referral for a new installation.

Thanks again for your kindness and generosity. I was certainly never expecting it. I will continue to recommend your products as the ultimate for the dealer or the home dish owner who for whatever reason does his own maintenance.
